Grand Haven’s Centertown has a flavor all its own. On Saturday, May 19th, you can get a taste of everything the district has to offer during Flavor of Centertown!

The event begins at 11:00 am with a brief program saluting local Coast Guard and other military personnel, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony unveiling the new Coast Guard boat that marks the gateway into the core business district.

From there, Flavor of Centertown attendees will be given passports to take to participating Centertown businesses. Those who get their passports stamped by at least 15 businesses can enter a raffle drawing to take place between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. Prizes include a barbeque grill, plus gift certificates and merchandise from Centertown companies.

Taste tickets can be purchased for $1 apiece, offering an actual sampling of the Centertown eateries. And, local artists and amateur painters will be in storefronts creating military-themed artworks as they honor May as Military Appreciation month. Come on down to Centertown and enjoy this fun-filled event!
