“When you come into our store, we want you to feel happy and have a smile on your face. We want you to have fun. The owner, Jill, has an amazing vision and does a really good job at merchandising: we have home goods, we have sweatshirts, we have kids’ clothes, sparkly water bottles, we have tween things. We have fun koozies for your adult beverages, trucker hats with saucy and sassy sayings (some that are appropriate for grandma’s house…and some that are not!) We have something for everybody that comes into our store.
It’s so fun, just serving the community. Grand Haven is great, especially in the summertime. You can go to the beach and read a book. You can go to Fortino’s and grab a Coke in a glass, go to the candy store, or walk down the street and play cornhole. It’s a happy town with a fun vibe. We have a lot of loyal customerhs that come here, and they are absolutely the greatest customers you could ever wish for. They’re so sweet. They come in, they’re like ‘Oh, my gosh, hi. You’re working today?’ We have customers who come in year after year after year, and I watch their kids grow up.
And the new customers, the tourists, we always love to hear where they’re from and who they’re visiting, if they came for vacation, if they came to see family. it’s just such a happy environment.”
